China Glaze - Electropop Collection (Lights)

This is a special post for me because I won this collection from the fabulous Glam Polish! I've never won a giveaway before so I was shocked to get the e-mail saying these beauties were on their way to me. China Glaze Electropop comes in two sets, Lights and Brights. I chose Lights and then purchased Techno which comes from the Brights collection to put on my accent nail. This is a great collection if you are just starting to build your nail polish collection and need basic colors. I was in need of some great cremes so it was perfect for me!

 Now, on to the pictures!

Techno is on my ring finger in all pictures. It looks just like OPI Servin' up Sparkle which I was obsessed with for a while. I almost used up my entire bottle and couldn't find a back up. Techno solved that problem! I've read that it is a re-release but I wasn't addicted to polish when it came out the first time around. Techo has a variety of silver and holographic glitter in a clear base. I think it goes with everything because well, it's glitter!

Gothic Lolita
This is my favorite of the collection. Gothic Lolita is a beautiful red toned purple with a subtle pink and blue shimmer. It almost seems like a jelly to me with how squishy it looks but it is opaque in two coats.

Kinetic Candy
This is a light blue creme that seems to have a little bit of green in it. Very pretty, reminds me of an Easter egg.

Dance Baby
I don't have a lot of pinks so Dance Baby was a welcome addition to my stash. It's an adorable bubblegum pink. Very fun to wear when you want to feel extra girly.

Electric Beat
This reminds me of a lighter dustier version of China Glaze Secret Periwinkle. I don't have that polish so I was excited to get this! This may be the second runner up after Gothic Lolita for me.

Fuchsia Fanatic
I wasn't sure how this was going to look on my skin tone. I'm super pale and I don't tend to wear bright colors. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. It was a lot of fun to wear. It reminds me of a shade I'd wear in summer more than spring but who cares? It's awesome! It's a bright berry shade that is almost magenta. Love it.

Sweet Hook
I love how this looks on my skin tone. I can't decide if it looks more lavender or dusty pink/rose. It's a unique shade for my collection but I'm sure there are many like this out there.

The formula was great for all of these polishes. I needed two coats for all of them to get complete coverage. They were a tiny bit on the runny side but I just made sure I wiped any extra drips off of my brush and it worked perfectly.

Thank you again, Glam Polish for this amazing giveaway!

What do you think? This has been out for a little while, have you picked any up? Which shades are your favorite?

Thanks for reading!
