Born Pretty Glitter Review

My giveaway closes tonight at midnight (MST) so hop on over and enter, here

I'm so excited to show you a set of glitter I recently received from Born Pretty. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know how much I love glitter. I've noticed that a few of my favorite bloggers have been using loose glitter for nail art and I loved how it looked. When I was approached by Born Pretty to review one of their products, I didn't have to think twice about what I wanted to try. I chose a 12 pack of loose glitter (item #3103). You can find it, here. I was really impressed by how inexpensive this set is. Seriously, $6.45 for 12 different pots of glitter? That's fabulous. Let me show you what you get and what I did with them!

Here are all of the colors you get.

They are a little bigger around than a quarter and about a 1/2 inch tall.

So pretty!

I wanted to create more than one look since I had twelve colors to play with. There are SO many things you can do with these. For example,

you can make a simple design that makes your nails look killer. I used two coats of Zoya Raven and the orange glitter to make this Halloween look. It took less than 10 minutes to apply the glitter. Super easy and very cute.

Not blingy enough for you?
Dip your finger directly in the glitter pot (or sprinkle the glitter on your nail) and press down firmly to get full coverage. I applied two coats of Seche Vite to secure the glitter. I wore this mani for two days and nothing moved, lifted. etc.

Want something more funky? I got you covered.
I used the silver glitter with a half moon mani to be extra awesome.
(Zoya Storm -Black & Zoya Aurora -Purple)
 Direct Sunlight

This is what happens if you don't moisturize. Don't do that.
(Shade)

It's also fun to use them with stamps. Check it...
I think his eyes are so cute. But wait, there's more (JK)...

I'll be rocking this look tomorrow for Halloween.
Zoya Ziv, Bundle Monster Plate #305 (BM-305), Konad Special Polish in Black, Born Pretty Red Glitter, and Seche Vite

As you can see, I had a lot of fun with the glitter. It was ridiculously easy to work with. Just dab some top coat where you'd like the glitter, dab the tip of your dotting tool in top coat to pick up the glitter and place. It stayed right where I applied it, didn't lift, bleed, or anything else you don't want your glitter to do. Seriously, twelve colors for under $7.00 is amazing.

Let's talk about Born Pretty for a minute. I've ordered nail art supplies with them before and have had a great experience every time. My orders always arrived in about a week, well packaged, and the quality was always great.

You can get an even better price (and free shipping) with this coupon code. Just sayin!

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
