Super Black Lacquers Swatches

I'm back with four gorgeous polishes from Super Black Lacquers. I now have eleven polishes from this company and I've been impressed with them all! I'll add links to my other Super Black swatches at the end of the post in case you'd like to check them out.

The formula was consistent with all of the polishes so I'll just tell you about it here. Perfection. These babies practically apply themselves. They are so smooth and they self level amazingly well. You only need two coats, they dry fast, and they are stunning. This is a high quality brand in my humble opinion. Need I say more? What? Oh...the pictures. Right. Here ya go. Ok, one more thing. I used one coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat with all of the polishes. Enjoy!!!

Heather is a luxurious purple linear holo. The holo effect is strong as you can see in the pictures. Indoors it's a subtle shimmery purple. Love.

Spanked is a deep raspberry linear holo. I adore this color.

Guilty is a yellow gold linear holo. As with Heather and Spanked, sunglasses outside may be helpful. Oh, be careful driving. ;)

3rd Degree is a reddish orange polish with gold shimmer. In the bottle the shimmer effect is insane. On the nail, it's more subdued but you can see it. This would be excellent for pedicures in the summer time. Actually, I may just put it on my toes right now to brighten my spirits.

Which one is my favorite? Hrmmmm.......Spanked? It's too hard to choose. What about you? Which one do you love the most? Make my day and leave a comment below.

CrowsToes One Trick Pony

I have the One Crazy, Mad Summer Collection by CrowsToes and I've been going back and forth with how to show them to you. I originally planned on doing a collection post but I just can't do that. I have too many pictures from this collection and I'm having a hard time deciding which pictures to show. I want to show them all! So, I'm chopping it up. Today, I'm showing you One Trick Pony.

One Trick Pony is insane. It's a holographic polish that either looks purple or green depending on the lighting. As you will see, the holo effect is extremely strong. The formula was great, I only needed two coats. Top coat does not weaken the holo effect at all (I used Cult Nails Wicked Fast).

Now, for the holo spam. Put on your sunglasses and strap on your bibs.

Are you still here or have you already left to purchase this? I don't blame you. Well, in case anyone is still reading this here is a list of places that carry CrowsToes.

Smokey Mountain Lacquers Blue Jean Baby

I have another beautiful polish from Smokey Mountain Lacquers to show you today. Blue Jean Baby is  a limited edition polish that will be available in September. It is a lovely light blue scattered holographic polish. The holo effect is subtle indoors and more noticeable outside. The holo effect being scattered and subtle makes it look like denim to me.

The formula is very easy to work with just like the other polishes I've tried from this brand. It applies smoothly and is opaque with two coats. Top coat doesn't effect the strength of the holo. I used two coats of Blue Jean Baby with one coat of Seche Vite for the following pictures.

Isn't this polish beautiful?

Blue Jean Baby will be available in September at the Smokey Mountain Lacquers' Etsy shop. I think the price will be $10.00

Different Dimension Vulnerable and Just Keep Swimming

I am SO excited to show you two amazing holos from Different Dimension. This is a fairly new to me brand and I've been very impressed so far. Vulnerable and Just Keep Swimming are beautiful holographic polishes and they have fabulous formulas. Holos used to be so hard to work with, requiring an aqua base, being a pain to apply, and then peeling off the next day. Ugh! I used my regular base coat (Duri Rejuvacote), applied two coats, and then Seche Vite for my top coat. The formula is extremely smooth, it practically applies itself. You probably won't believe me but they were very close to being one coaters but my nails are too long. Two coats were just right. I know, hard to believe right?

All pictures are outside in the sun. You can still see the holo effect inside but it is much more subtle of course. Just Keep Swimming has a stronger holographic effect than Vulnerable. Both are incredibly beautiful. Ok, put your bibs on here comes the holo!

Different Dimension Just Keep Swimming
This makes me want to jump in the closest pool or jump on the next flight to Hawaii. Sneaking into a pool would be free (but illegal) but tickets to Hawaii are expensive right now...Lush bath?

The combination of this deep blue and strong holo effect is perfection.

Excuse me while I put this back on...wow...

Simply amazing! I'm in love with this polish.

Different Dimension Vulnerable
Could this be a work appropriate holo? What do you think?

Humina... humina... humina... (yes, I'm a dork).

I love the combination of the neutral color with the holographic sparkle. Divine.

Different Dimension Vulnerable and Just Keep Swimming is available at Llarowe
