China Glaze On Safari Preview

China Glaze On Safari should be hitting shelves sometime next month. I'm not in love with the entire collection but a few do have me intrigued. Of course it's the ones with glitter! I may have a bit of a glitter problem...

Left to right: I'm Not Lion, I Herd That, Kalahari Kiss, Desert Sun
Left to right: Elephant Walk, Exotic Encounter, Jungle Queen, Call of the Wild
Left to right: Manhunt, Purr-fect Plum, Prey Tell, Adventure Red-y

I'm excited for the glitters of course (I'm not Lion & I herd That) but am curious about how a few of the cremes as well(Jungle Queen & Manhunt). I'm a sucker for greens but I'm not really feeling Elephant Walk and Exotic Encounter. Weird. I guess I'm just...eh about this collection. I don't love it or hate it. For the amount of polish I have, I need something really special to make me want to snatch it up.

What do you think? Do you love it, hate it, or like me not really care? Any of these shades strike your fancy? Do tell in the comment section below!

Orly Beach Cruiser and Glowstick

I have two more neons to show you from Orly's Feel the Vibe collection. I got the mini set so I don't have After Party and Day Glow. Since I haven't posted for a couple of days I'm going to just show you Beach Cruiser and Glowstick in one post. Both swatches show two coats on top of two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. The formula was thin but in a good way, it was very easy to work with.

Orly Beach Cruiser
I was surprised with how much I liked this color. Neons aren't my thing but I'm going to make an exception for this. This would make a fabulous summer pedi.

Glowstick
I think Glowstick is the perfect name for this crazy neon yellow. It's a bit too much for me, maybe I could handle it if it were apart of nail art and it wasn't the main color. lol This is so much brighter in person, it's piercing.

Orly Melt Your Popsicle

I'm a little speechless right now. This is seriously the brightest orange I have ever ever seen. Ever. Wow. Do you see how bright it is? It looks like it went radioactive. So bright, it glows. Ok, I'm just going to let the pictures do the talking because the brightness has injured my brain apparently.

Do you remember the rule about neons?
Put a coat or two of white polish on first to make the color pop!

What do you think? Will you be rocking this or is it too bright for you? Let me know in the comment section below!

Orly Skinny Dip

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of neons. My skin is very pale and neons just draw more attention to that fact. If I could pull them off, I'm sure I'd like them more. The only neon I owned before the few I picked up from Orly's Feel the Vibe collection was a hot pink my niece picked out a while back. I've never worn it myself but she has rocked it several times. It's safe to say that Skinny Dip is out of my comfort zone but I think it's important to venture out every now and then. I got the mini set so I didn't blow too much money on something I'm not that comfortable wearing. I think they will be used mainly with nail art.

Out of the few neons I bought, Skinny Dip is my favorite. I can actually see myself putting it on again too which is a shocker. Skinny Dip is a super bright neon blue that is best worn on top of white. I repeat, this along with most neons are best on top of a coat or two of white polish. The white helps it pop more and stay true to it's color.

I used two coats of OPI Alpine Snow and two coats of Skinny Dip in the pictures below with Seche Vite on top.

What's that awesomeness on my accent nail you ask? It's a gold leaf top coat. Fancy, I know. I LOVE how it looks against the blue and it makes me feel pretty cool. I saw this top coat on Chalkboard Nails a little while ago and being the helpless polish addict I am, had to grab a bottle of my own. Click here to see the post about this top coat, it has the ordering information if you'd like to feel fancy too. These are available while supplies last.

Max Factor Fantasy Fire

I can't believe it has taken me so long to post this! I somehow thought I already had but going back in my old posts, I realized I didn't. A while back I asked if anyone had access to this polish and would be willing to send it to me. Jo Walker was so kind to send me a bottle all the way from the U.K. Thanks again Jo!

Fantasy Fire is wildly popular due to how close it is to the discontinued Clarins 230. It is a really cool purple jelly with multichrome shimmer. It is meant for layering and will have a different effect depending on what color you put it on top of. I layered it on top of OPI Road House Blues which is a dark navy blue creme. It has an interesting burgundy like glow straight on and shifts to green at an angle.

Here come a lot of pictures! Enjoy!

Zoya Blogger Collection by Birchbox

Don't forget to enter my new giveaway for Zoya's Surf Collection!

Man, it's been a while since I posted some swatches. I have a lot of catching up to do and I'm working hard to do so. When I first heard that Zoya was coming out with Limited Edition polishes, I jumped right on it. I'm a bit obsessed with Zoya and have been having a hard time resisting their new releases. Good thing these are adorable colors! The set comes with two jellies (Coraline and Kate) and a shimmer (Belle) that's meant for layering. Enjoy!

Zoya Kate
Kate is a deep coral/orange jelly. It goes on very sheer as jellies do but builds up to opacity with four thin coats. I have two coats of Belle on my ring finger.

Zoya Coraline
Coraline is a tangerine jelly (that sounds kinda yummy) that also needs about four coats to be opaque. I have two coats of Belle on my ring finger. You can also see that my nails broke while swatching this collection. *cry*

Zoya Belle
Belle is a beautiful tangerine shimmer that has a lot of pink undertones. It doesn't really work well on it's own but you can make it work if you don't mind piling on the coats. I have five or so here. I prefer it layered over Coraline and Kate.
