My Lush Haul

Hi everyone! I had some interest on my Facebook page about what I got from my first trip to Lush! Lush is a bath and body store that sells all natural and vegan products. I have been wanting to check Lush out because of the hype surrounding their cuticle butter, Lemony Flutter. I'm always looking for something to help keep my cuticles under control so I don't scare you guys off. =)

I was very overwhelmed by all of the products in Lush and had a hard time controlling myself. I wanted to try everything! Luckily I was able to keep myself in check (for the most part). Let's see what I got!

Here are the goods.

On the left is Ultrabalm and on the right the infamous Lemony Flutter.
I purchased Ultrabalm for my Eczema. It's too early to tell if it's going to work but I like how it smells. So far, I'm in love with Lemony Flutter. You only need a tiny bit and it's a pretty big container. It's smells delicious and it leaves my hands soft and my cuticles easy to remove.

I bought two tiny pieces of soap. Man, their soap is expensive! This tiny piece was $5.00. Unless it works miracles, I won't buy their soap again. I haven't tried the soap yet but I'll keep you posted. This is Honey I Washed the Kids.

Lush Honey I Washed The Kids Soap
This smells like...honey. =)

 Demon In the Dark Soap
This smells like mint. It's still sitting on top of the wrapper in the polish room and my entire room smells minty which I love. The lighter part of the soap is avocado I believe.

On the left and right are Bath Bombs. The white one is Dragon's Egg and the green, Avobath. On the top is a Bath Melt called The Comforter and on the bottom is Sunny Side.

I tried Avobath (green Bath Bomb) and it was....ok. It was cool to watch it dissolve and fizz. For some reason, I thought it was for a bubble bath. I've never used a Bath Bomb before so I didn't know what to expect. It turned my bath water a light yellowy green which was weird. It smelled really good but it didn't seem to do much for my skin. If someone gave me one for a gift, I'd be excited but I don't think I'll be purchasing anymore myself. I do reserve the right to change my mind at any moment.

That's it for my Lush Haul! What did you think? Did this post interest you or do you want me to stick to polish? Let me know in the comments below!

Nail Mail Time

My mail box has been the source of a lot of happiness this month. I still have a couple more packages on their way. I had gift cards for Llarowe to use and some media samples that helped my wallet from having a complete melt down. Speaking of melt downs, my laptop is being held hostage at the Apple Store. I'll get it back later this week and I can not wait! Thankfully, my husband is letting me use his laptop while he's at work. Unfortunately, his laptop has a crazy sensitive track pad and I have shaky hands. Enough about my technical woes, here is the latest polish to join my stash!

Getting Nail Mail from Cult Nails is always special. I love the Nail Mail sticker on the packages, the tissue paper, sticker, and of course the adorable polish burritos.

This is their latest collection, In The Garden.
Left to right: Let's Get Dirty, Morning Glory, You're My Dandy Lion, Kiss My Rose Bush, and Ay Poppy!

I Love Nail Polish changed their base to one that doesn't smell as strongly. To kick off the change, there was a sale so I snagged four polishes. The first thing I did when these arrived was open the cap and smell the polish. It is so much better. Thank you I Love Nail Polish!
Left to right: Purple Stuff, Little Mermaid, Glass Slippers, and Don't Trample My Roses

I had a few gift cards for Llarowe that I finally used. I still have two Emily de Mollys coming that I just ordered. I can't wait for those to arrive.
Left to right: Nail Pattern Boldness Oodiful, Picture Polish Paradise, CrowsToes Gomez, and CrowsToes Cheshire

Zoya is my favorite brand and I can't wait to start swatching these. I sure have my work cut out for me!
From top to bottom: Zoya Summer PixieDust, Zoya Irresistible, and Zoya Stunning Collection

Last but not least, I ordered the OPI Bond Girl collection from Ulta.com.
Left to right: OPI Pussy Galore, OPI Jinx, OPI Tiffany Case, OPI Vesper, OPI Honey Ryder, and OPI Solitare.

I can't wait to swatch all of these gorgeous polishes so I can show you what they look like. It's going to take me a while but I'll work as fast as I can. What do you want to see the most?

Cartoon Nails

Hello everyone! I thought it would be fun to change things up and try some nail art. I recently saw a video by Cute Polish on how to do a cartoon nail mani. I had never seen a design like that before and it looked like something I could do so I was intrigued. If you follow my Facebook page or Instagram account, you know this is my second try at this design. My first attempt was completely ruined because I went to bed before they were completely dry. I hadn't taken pictures yet so I had to redo my nails. Don't you hate it when you work hard on your nails and then they get smudged?

For this design, I used Cult Nails Nevermore for the black and Cult Nails Ay Poppy! for the orange. I used a white striper for the white and finished it off with a matte top coat from Nails Inc.

To learn how to make this design, watch this video from Cute Polish.

How to Follow Pamper with Polish

Don't forget to enter my giveaway for a chance to win polish from Cult Nails, I Love Nail Polish, or Indigo Bananas!

Hello everyone! With GFC (Google Friend Connect) on it's way out on July 1st, many blog obsessed people such as myself are in a panic. I have an insanely long list of blogs I like to keep up with on my google blog reader that I'd like to stay connected with. When GFC goes, how will I remember all of my beloved blogs? Bloglovin' is my personal solution to staying connected and transitioning smoothly with this big change. Bloglovin' has a blog reader and a function to transfer all of your favorite blogs directly from google's blog reader. I realize my terminology may not be 100% correct so if I have confused you in any way or you have a correction for me, let me know in the comment section.

If you would like to stay connected to Pamper with Polish there are several ways to do so. I will provide links to where I am so you can find me and keep up with my polish shenanigans.

1. Bloglovin' You can subscribe to my blog here and my posts will automatically pop up in your reader.

2. Facebook I always post my blog updates on my Facebook page along with other random thoughts. I also share things that I find such as sales, nail art that I think is amazing, and other nail related thoughts. I also have albums for all of the nail polish brands I have swatched and my nail art.

3. Twitter I only use Twitter to link my blog posts. I'm under PamperWPolish.

5. Instagram I'm completely addicted to Instagram. I usually post a picture from my latest blog post. I also post pictures of my cats. @pamperwithpolish

6. Pinterest I've recently set up an official Pinterest account for Pamper with Polish. I've been working on making boards for each nail polish brand I've swatched. I have a lot of work to do to link all of my blog posts to the account but it's coming along.

I'll update this if and when I join other social media sites. Thank you for reading and for your support!

OPI DS Extravagance

Have I ever mentioned that my polish collection is completely out of control? I don't even want to know what percentage of my polish I have swatched and put on the blog. I'm sure it's small and I really want to fix that! My older polishes often get neglected for the new collections. I'm waiting for a lot of Nail Mail right now so I thought I'd work on getting my OPI DS (Designer Series) collection up on the blog. I believe I have nine of them and my goal is to get them all up by the end of the week. So far, five are swatched, photographed, and edited.

First up is the stunning OPI DS Extravagance. Everything about it has a luxurious feel from the silver cap to the buttery smooth formula and it's complex texture. I just love this polish.

OPI DS Extravagance reads purple to me but it definitely leans on the red side. Being from the DS line, Extravagance is infused with scattered holographic particles. They are a bit subtle and hide indoors  but come out a little more outside. It isn't an in your face holo by any means but it's enough to provide a beautiful depth, texture, and sparkle.

What do you think of the OPI Designer Series line? If you have any, I'd love to know which ones you have and what your favorites are. Let me know in the comments below! Your comments makes me day!!
