Nail Mail Time

My mail box has been the source of a lot of happiness this month. I still have a couple more packages on their way. I had gift cards for Llarowe to use and some media samples that helped my wallet from having a complete melt down. Speaking of melt downs, my laptop is being held hostage at the Apple Store. I'll get it back later this week and I can not wait! Thankfully, my husband is letting me use his laptop while he's at work. Unfortunately, his laptop has a crazy sensitive track pad and I have shaky hands. Enough about my technical woes, here is the latest polish to join my stash!

Getting Nail Mail from Cult Nails is always special. I love the Nail Mail sticker on the packages, the tissue paper, sticker, and of course the adorable polish burritos.

This is their latest collection, In The Garden.
Left to right: Let's Get Dirty, Morning Glory, You're My Dandy Lion, Kiss My Rose Bush, and Ay Poppy!

I Love Nail Polish changed their base to one that doesn't smell as strongly. To kick off the change, there was a sale so I snagged four polishes. The first thing I did when these arrived was open the cap and smell the polish. It is so much better. Thank you I Love Nail Polish!
Left to right: Purple Stuff, Little Mermaid, Glass Slippers, and Don't Trample My Roses

I had a few gift cards for Llarowe that I finally used. I still have two Emily de Mollys coming that I just ordered. I can't wait for those to arrive.
Left to right: Nail Pattern Boldness Oodiful, Picture Polish Paradise, CrowsToes Gomez, and CrowsToes Cheshire

Zoya is my favorite brand and I can't wait to start swatching these. I sure have my work cut out for me!
From top to bottom: Zoya Summer PixieDust, Zoya Irresistible, and Zoya Stunning Collection

Last but not least, I ordered the OPI Bond Girl collection from Ulta.com.
Left to right: OPI Pussy Galore, OPI Jinx, OPI Tiffany Case, OPI Vesper, OPI Honey Ryder, and OPI Solitare.

I can't wait to swatch all of these gorgeous polishes so I can show you what they look like. It's going to take me a while but I'll work as fast as I can. What do you want to see the most?

Zoya Chyna

Zoya Chyna was made just for me just in case you weren't aware. They already had a Mira so they picked a different name. J/k I saved Chyna for last because it's my favorite. I was very lucky to have swatched this on a sunny day so I was able to take pictures outside. I want to take all of my pictures outside but there is this thing called Winter that makes it miserable to do so.

I took 97 pictures of this polish. I love red, glitter, and Zoya what can I say!?

Without Top Coat (Outside/Direct Sunlight)
Chyna is a deep red that's full of silver shimmery goodness and Zoya's magical texture particles.

I thought that this didn't have the silver glitter because I couldn't see it in the bottle or on the nail. When I removed it, I saw it.

The formula was the best out of the whole collection. I almost only needed one coat. One coat!! I had a tiny bit of patchiness that required a second coat. It applied smoothly but still needed extra dry time.

Without Top Coat (Inside/Light Box)

I love how the bottle looks in this picture.

With Top Coat (Outside/Direct Sunlight)
I can't decide if I like Chyna better with or without top coat. What do you think?
I used two coats of Seche Vite to make it smooth and glossy.

 I love this picture.

Zoya Vespa

Welcome back to Zoya PixieDust week! Have you tried these yet? I'm curious about how many of you are into the textured nail polish trend. I've said before that I thought I'd hate textured polish but was pleasantly surprised once I put them on my nails. They aren't too gritty or rough, I'm digging it!

Today, I have Zoya Vespa to show you. I can't decide if it's a minty green or sage. I think it's somewhere in between. It has beautiful silver glitter and the sugary texture just like the others. I wish my pictures showed how much these sparkle in person. I was pretty surprised with how sparkly they are. Just trust me, they are fabulous!

Without Top Coat
Like Nyx, Vespa's formula is on the sheer side. Wipe your brush off before applying to avoid flooding your cuticles. I used three thin coats giving plenty of dry time in between to avoid dragging.

Vespa brought out the redness in my skin a little. I love the color I just wish it got along with my skin tone. Maybe I should just get a little sun. =)

With Top Coat
It's just as gorgeous with top coat. I used two coats of Seche Vite to make it glossy and smooth.

Zoya Nyx

Today I have one of my favorites from Zoya's PixieDust collection. I'm leaving my very favorite for last. Can anyone guess which one is my favorite? It's an easy one for anyone who knows me well. ;)

Zoya Nyx is gorgeous. It's a periwinkle blue filled with silvery sparkle and sugary texture.

Without Top Coat
The formula on Nyx was a little bit on the sheer/watery side. Make sure to wipe your brush off before application to avoid flooding your cuticles. I needed three thin coats to make it opaque. Make sure to wait a bit in between coats to avoid dragging.

Just like the other PixieDust polishes, removal is very easy. I didn't need to use the foil method which is amazing. These seem like they'd be hard to get off but they aren't!

With Top Coat
Adding two coats of top coat makes it glossy and smooth not to mention extra sparkly. ;)

Love it!!!
