OPI Pink Yet Lavender

The last polish I have to show you from the Mariah Carey collection is the glitter, Pink Yet Lavender. I love glitter toppers and this one is no exception.

Pink Yet Lavender has a clear base, pink hexagons, and small silver glitter.

I used two coats on top of OPI Anti-Bleak and used two coats of Seche Vite to make it smooth.

It applied well and dried quickly. I didn't have to manipulate any of the glitter pieces (or play go fish) which is nice for a glitter like this. All of the pieces laid flat. The glitter that looks bent is just the reflection of the light.

Well, it took me for-ev-er but I finally finished this collection!!
Now what? You will just have to come back to see! =)

OPI Sprung

The name of this polish makes me laugh. Do people still say that? I'm too old to be cool so I don't know anymore. Ok, I'm not too old, I just don't care. I'm 34. You were wondering right? ;p I digress, back to the polish. The name is a bit silly but the polish is fabulous. Let's take a look.

Shimmery coppery goodness right here. It's a lot more shimmery in person. It's one of those polishes that glows. Love it!

Here it is with the flash on. It looks more like the picture on the top in real life but look how pretty!!!

Again, I used the flash so you could see the little bits of color swimming around in the polish.

The formula was excellent. I only needed two coats for opacity. As always, I used Seche Vite top coat to make it extra shiny.

When I went to put this polish away, I noticed that I have a thing for copper polishes. I have a lot of close dupes. I want to do a comparison post on them. It's pretty embarrassing. =)

OPI A Butterfly Moment

I'm almost done showing you the Mariah Carey Collection from OPI. Two more to go after this one! I'm not sure why I snagged A Butterfly Moment (ABM). I have been looking for a neutral polish that goes with my skin tone. This isn't quite right. It will be useful in nail art so I'll keep it around.

OPI ABM is a light tan/pink with golden shimmer. The formula was just right, not too thin or thick. I used two coats and topped it off with one coat of Seche Vite.

OPI Anti Bleak

I'm back with OPI Anti-Bleak from the Mariah Carey collection. It's a reddish purple creme. Nothing earth shattering but it's a good color to have in your stash. It reminds me of OPI Casino Royale but I don't have that to compare it with. I don't think it's a dupe but it's pretty darn close.

Anti-Bleak has a great formula. It was a little on the thin side but not enough that I had to worry about flooding my cuticles. I used two coats and one coat of Seche Vite.

I had a really hard time photographing this polish but I can't blame OPI for my troubles.

A certain furball was demanding my attention. ;)

OPI The Impossible

OPI The Impossible is the last of the liquid sand polishes. I saved it for last because it's my least favorite. I wouldn't have purchased it but it came with the mini set. Luckily, my niece really likes it so I know it will go to good use. ;)

The Impossible is a bright coral jelly polish with micro glitter, small silver hexagon glitter, and silver stars. My bottle, unfortunately, seems to be missing the stars. I did a full manicure on my niece and then of course used it for this swatch and I didn't see a single star. Both my niece and I were disappointed. Sad day. Moving on.

The formula is a bit sheer so I used three coats. Drying time is a little slower like the other liquid sand polishes. Also, removal isn't harder than a regular glitter polish. I just used the foil method and it came off just fine.

Here it is with two coats of Seche Vite top coat.

It is pretty, it just doesn't work with my skin tone.

Well, there you have it! Which liquid sand polish is your favorite?

OPI Can't Let Go

I'm back with another polish from the OPI Mariah Carey Collection. Can't Let Go is one of the liquid sand polishes. It's a purple glitter that has larger pieces of hex glitter in it. I needed three thin coats for it to be opaque. It has a nice formula but takes longer to dry than OPI usually does.

OPI Can't Let Go w/out top coat.

OPI Can't Let Go w/ top coat (two coats of Seche Vite).

I'll be back tomorrow with the last of the liquid sand polishes, OPI The Impossible.

OPI Get Your Number

OPI Get Your Number is a liquid sand polish from the Mariah Carey collection. It's meant to be worn without a top coat. I was surprised that I like it with out without a top coat. It's a bit sheer so I used three coats. The pictures show a bit of VNL (visible nail line) but you can't see them in person.

It doesn't feel as gritty as it looks. It's definitely textured but not enough that it bothered me.

I like it better glossy and smooth. It eats top coat; I used two coats of Seche Vite.

Macro with top coat. Look at all that glitter!!
